Giuseppe “Joe” Ruggeri, who lived in Everett for more than 41 years and raised his family there, died on October 24, 2026 at Salem Hospital after a short illness. He was 75 and had lived in Lynn for the past six years.

He cooked, gardened, and made his own sauce, pizza, bread and wine. He liked a highball, he could fix almost anything, and he went to Home Depot nearly every day. In Lynn he was active at the senior center.
He leaves his wife of more than 52 years, Rosemary E. (Cartolano) Ruggeri; a son, Frank, and two daughters, Caroline Tucker (Bob) and Angela Marciano (Chris), all in Lynn; five grandchildren, Marcus and Amanda Tucker, Benjamin and Sarah Marciano, and Emma Ruggeri; a brother, Antonino (Nina), in Norwood; two sisters, Rosa Brancato in Walpole and Lia Pino (Salvatore) in Melbourne, Australia; and a sister-in-law, Pina Ruggeri.
