Everett police booked nine people between Monday, October 5 and Sunday, October 11, according to the department’s weekly arrest log. The week in numbers
Nine arrests, eight of them men. Only one of the nine listed an Everett address; three gave Malden addresses, and the rest came from East Boston, Chelsea, Salem, Belchertown and Derry, N.H. A straight warrant is issued when a defendant is charged by complaint and has not yet been arraigned; a default warrant issues when someone misses a court date.
Entries are taken from the Everett Police Department’s weekly arrest log, a public record posted at everettpolicema.com. An arrest is an accusation. Every person listed is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in court. Charges are listed as the department recorded them; some entries were truncated in the original log. People who believe their entry is in error may contact the newsroom for a correction.
