She was born in Everett to Alyre Gaudet and Rose McMahon, went through the city’s schools, and spent much of her working life as a legal secretary at the Law Office of Paul Delory. At St. Anthony’s Parish she sang in the choir and turned up for whatever the parish was doing.

The others scattered: Robert J., married to Edgar Moya, is in Los Angeles; James W. and his partner Tom Oprea are in New York City; Paul F. and his wife Kristen are in Deep River, Connecticut; and Joseph J. shares his life with Buddee Clinton.
Six grandchildren survive her: Thomas Strott II (and his wife Rebecca), Raleigh Strott, David Strott, Anthony Caramanica (and his wife Hannah) and Kelsey Caramanica. The great-grandchildren are Emma and Abigail Strott and Oaklyn Caramanica. Of her Gaudet siblings, Margaret Duffy, Mary I. Gaudet and the Rev. Joseph Gaudet survive her; John Gaudet died earlier.
